DAY 9: 'Getting Fit with T1D' Workout Challenge

TABATA TUESDAY. Tabata Workouts are designed to keep your heart rate up for the workout so you have incredible calorie burning afterwards for up to 48 hours. How hard can you go for 20 seconds and with a 10 second break?

I am a huge fan of Tabata because of the huge afterburn effect AND because the exercise times are short, explosive, and versatile. This workout calls for 8 rounds, but do as many as you can, even if that's just a single round. After your workout, you have total bragging rights with the T1D Group. :D

How Tabata works:

Exercise for 20 seconds as hard and as fast as you can!

Recovery for 10 seconds.

Move on to the next workout.

REPEAT.

Tabata Tuesday (20/10)

  • Mountain Climber Twists
  • Tricep Dips
  • Chair Stair Ups (grab any study chair)
  • Push Up Rotation
  • High Knees
  • Side Planks
