DAY 3: 'Getting Fit with T1D" Workout Challenge

"Getting Fit with T1D" Day 3 Workout Challenge

Day 3!! You're killing this week of HIIT Workouts. Take a second and think about if you have noticed any changes with your blood sugar from these workouts. Take special notice to your fasted blood sugar in the morning. If you haven't already, you can join the "Getting Fit with T1D" FB Group for added support with your new workout goals. Reaching your goals is much easier when you have a team behind you.

So here we go, Day 3. Even if this is your first day of these workouts, this is a great workout to start with! This workout will tone your lower back, obliques, and booty. It's going to be good.

DAY 3 WOD

  • 20 Star Jumps
  • 1 min Superman Hold/Pulse
  • 20 Side Plank Raises (10 each side)
  • 1 min Squat Pulse
  • 20 Sit Ups
  • 1 min Wall Sit Hold

REPEAT 3-5X (do more if you really want to feel it tomorrow).

BONUS: If you want more? You can add 1 mile cardio sprints by using a treadmill and/or running outside. Cardio sprints are a fantastic way to rev up your metabolism up to 48 hours.
