CARDIO KILLER ABS
This week in the "Getting Fit with T1D" FB Group, we are doing a week of HIIT workouts for better diabetes management. These workouts can be done at home with zero equipment and within 30 min. But don't think for a second that that means they aren't tough. These workouts will definitely make you sweat and feel good about what you did.
Today we are focusing on the abs, especially those troublesome obliques, and boosting the metabolism with heart rate spikes with intense cardio segments. It's good.
If you want more, and want to stay in touch, join the "Getting Fit with T1D" FB Group. We like to do challenges together based on improving our nutrition, fitness, and our HbA1cs.
The goal for this workout is to do 4 rounds? How long did it take you? Once completed, you have full bragging rights to write a comment below.
CARDIO KILLER ABS
- 8 Rotating Side Bridge*
- 16 Squat Jumps
- 8 Pylo Lunges*
- 16 Switch Climbers
- 8 Oblique Crunches*
- 16 Jumping Jacks
* = Each side/leg (AKA: double the count)
IMPORTANT: Listen to your body, do as many rounds that is good for YOU (even if it just one). With time & consistency you will be able to do more. Also, exercise demonstration pics are in order of the workout routine.
BTW: as a present, my goal is not to add burpees for this week's challenge. For my die-hards, don't worry, these workouts will still make you sore.
