12 Days of Christmas HIIT Workout

Hi my dear T1D Friends,

Merry Christmas to you! This is a time of year to focus on the many blessings around you. Take a second to think about your loved ones, your favorite Christmas traditions, the sacred and spiritual aspect (if you are religious). This is my favorite time of year because you get to reflect and be close to those you love the very most.

I want to let you know, that I am very grateful for you this Christmas season. I started this "Getting Fit with T1D" Group, because I wanted a place where T1Ds could talk and support each other mentally, physically, and emotionally. Each one of you are striving to become better, stronger, healthier, and more controlled. Each day is a struggle, but each day that you are trying, the better off you become, and the more you learn. I want you to know how much I appreciate you, care for you, and am there for you along your journey. I didn't always feel I had someone being the only T1D that I knew growing up, but today is a different time. We have the ability to connect with many just like ourselves who deeply understand exactly we are going through.

I want you to know that you make a difference and you are appreciated. Merry Christmas my dear friend.

Okay...the workout.

Today's workout is a fun one. You can do it today, tomorrow morning, after Christmas, or maybe use it to"bring-down-a-BS-after-a-Christmas-goodie" workout. :D

The workout is "12 Days of Christmas" themed. Meaning, it is just like the song.

You can sing it out loud if it helps, "On the first day of Christmas..." Then start with the 1 Burpee Tuck Jump.

Next round is 2 Spiderman Push Ups, and then 1 Burpee Tuck Jump.

Following round is 3 Burpees (no push up), 2 Spiderman Push Ups, 1 Burpee Tuck Jump. So on and so forth.
